魔尺Rubik's Snake(官方名称是Rubik's Twist)是由匈牙利人厄尔诺·鲁比克（Ernő Rubik ）在70年代发明的高自由度的智力玩具。
在上世纪八十年代初，有人为了记录魔尺的玩法，编制了一种简易记录法，用阿拉伯数字表示第几块方块，用中文数字表示旋转的方向，这样，再复杂的图案都可以用一小段数字给精确地记录下来。
可以变化成各种形状，比如：单个24段的魔尺可以变100多种精美图案，有天上飞的小鸟，地上跑的长颈鹿，水里游的小鸭子，地面爬的小乌龟，还可以变成鸵鸟、篮子，球，十字架，小蛇；2个以上魔尺可以组装成更复杂，精美的花式。
