This manual contain instructions how to use HSLAB Access Control, it covers the principles of work and allows a users to get familiar with HSLAB Access Control easily.
The HSLAB Access Control products family contains of two software products which are based on different architecture. The first architecture is a network architecture.
Within the limits of this architecture following editions are created:
HSLAB Access Control NEE (Network Edition Enterprise).
HSLAB Access Control NES (Network Edition Standard).
HSLAB Access Control NESB (Network Edition Small Business).
HSLAB Access Control NEF (Network Edition Family).
This edition set is intended for use in networks of any size, from house networks up to networks of the large enterprises.
The second architecture is a subset of network architecture and called terminal server based architecture.
Within the limits of this architecture following editions are created:
HSLAB Access Control TSEE (Terminal Server Edition Enterprise).
HSLAB Access Control TSES (Terminal Server Edition Standard).
HSLAB Access Control TSSB (Terminal Server Edition Small Business).
This edition set is intended for use on terminal servers with any number of clients, from single regular computer up to hard loaded large enterprise's terminal servers.
HSLAB Access Control PE (Personal Edition) - is a subset of terminal server based architecture. This edition is intended for stand alone regular computers without network.
All listed edition supports different quantity of remote agents or local users, see editions matrix.
Note: In this manual the NEE edition is described. Some adjustments can not exist in younger editions of this software and in editions for terminal servers. |
